The weeks are certainly flying by. Can you believe that it's almost March?! The winds have been howling lately and if I were home during the day I'd wash the quilts and hang them on the line. March brings a lot of birthdays to The Old Parsonage. So much to do so little time, but at least it's fun stuff!
In case you are wondering it's not the beautiful, lush green outside that you see in this photo. I've pulled a few old photos again an played around with them in picmonkey.
Looking through old photos also gives me ideas for re-styling my vignettes - seeing what worked and what didn't. I've seen African violets for sale at our local market and may just buy one or two this week, or maybe I'll come home with a primrose. Either of them are sure to add a bit of spring to The Old Parsonage.

Are there less participants in Pink Sat. now? It seems I've not seen as many such blog entries, as I used to.
Suppose everything kind of runs its course. And people are *seduced* by new and different things. :-)
The winds have been howling here for 4 days now. I guess because there is such bad weather in the midwest. I just came back from visiting my sweet blog friend Shari in Fla. The weather there was gorgeous! wish I was still there! Your plant is so pretty. I am so ready for spring!
Hugs,
Debbie
You must be planning to be busy between now and Saturday. I like your pink dishes. Yes, I hope that you add a primrose to your home. Such a delightful harbinger of spring. Every time I look at mine, I grin just to see it. Very cheering.
The image of washing quilts and hanging them on the line is so neat. I can imagine them there blowing in the wind and drying very quickly because of it.
I enjoy playing around with some of my old photos in PM also. I had plans to go by the grocery when out earlier and while there buy flowers to add a touch of Spring. It was so cold and starting to rain so came back home. At least we are not getting the snow/ice that so many others are dealing with.
was just thinking about how time flies by ! Love African Violets problem is when I go somewhere for a few days no one remembers to water my plants for me.
Hi Leann! I love your Pink Saturday glassware. Do you know if they're Depression Glass? I have a couple of depression glass items that were my grandma's and they're so pretty! I love African Violets, too. Years ago they were about the only plant I could grow! LOL And they do brighten up a windowsill...plus inexpensive! Have a beautiful, blissful weekend!
Happy Pink Saturday Leann, I enjoyed your photos I'm in search of Spring too! Joyous wishes, Linda
YOU BROUGHT BACK MEMORIES TODAY.I AM FROM THE OLD DAYS, AND WE WASHED EVERYTHING BY HAND.RINSED AND HUNG THEM OUT IN THE FRESH AIR. EVERYTHING WOULD SMELL SO FRESH AND CLEAN.
Oh those March winds are getting a head start here too! We really get them howling and roaring all thru March!
I like African violets, they are so sweet! It is nice to have a little color while the snow is still falling!
Always good to see you here as your mission is clear and wonderfully stated in your blog! Thank you for sharing with us. Hugs Anne
I'm in CA and we also have had winds. Guess they are everywhere, but we do have a beautiful blue sky. Lovely post. Visiting you from PS. Hugs...Lu
