Old Man Winter can't make up his mind!

So far today we've had sun, snow, sleet, high winds and now it's back to snowing again. I'm not complaining...just letting you know what's going on around The Old Parsonage. We had snow Christmas Eve that lasted until Christmas morning then it all melted. This round will probably stay around for awhile since it's much colder today than yesterday.

Speaking of yesterday, I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas! I know that we sure did. We were surrounded by family and friends and even though our Texan's didn't make it home this year we got to have a long phone call with them.

Our Fireman has a horrible head cold, but he said that he's feeling better. You know how us Mums, are always worrying, and it's even harder when they live thousands of miles away.

Someone said to me yesterday, "What are you going to do now that Christmas is over?" Ummm... hello there are two weddings and a college graduation all coming up within the next 6 months, I think that I'll have plenty to keep me busy. Plus Christmas will be here again before we know it:)

I've got to go check on my homemade turkey noodle vegie soup - perfect for this kind of day. Don't cha think?!

Be sure to enter our giveaway here to be entered to win a copy of Chicken Soup for the Soul's "The Gift of Christmas." We're giving away two copies - giveaway ends at midnight tomorrow. We'll announce the winners on Friday!

2 to 4ins. was predicted here, but only got a heavy dusting - Thank goodness. My main get together is still to come, so will leave some decor up for that, but ready to take it all down.

Ohhhh, crazy weather headed our way, I guess!

Yes Ma'am, you will keep right on having lots of things to plan. And to make lists about. And to cross off those lists. :-)

Wonderful! Because you love doing it.

Mmmmmmm homemade turkey soup sounds wonderful, especially after eating holiday food and the weather is raw and miserable here. I didn't know you had a fireman in the family! Hope his cold is getting better. xo

Sounds like our weather, just substitute rain, winds and fog. I just pretend it's snow. Glad you had a nice Christmas. That top photo is just gorgeous. It could be in a magazine!

Oh, so glad to hear you had a wonderful holiday, Leann. It was most beautiful here, too, and I am immensely grateful.

Well, we have a whopper of a winter storm predicted for tonight. We'll see if it materializes. I think it will cuz it's f-f-f-freezing out.

Take care and keep warm and cozy. Susan

Leann,
Glad you had a great Christmas! Of course we had the same weather. It was pretty to have a white Christmas, wasn't it?!

Hi Leann,

Glad you had a nice Christmas! We did too! We had the same kind of storm here. It did snow on Christmas eve, and it was so pretty. Then turned to rain. :( It snowed again yesterday too, then turned to rain again. We are supposed to get an accumulation of snow on Sat.

Hugs,
Debbie
